Taylor has been writing since the tender age of seven, when her mother bought her her first typewriter. Once she finished her first work, a tall tale about a girl with hair that grew too fast, her father told her she should be published. And so, her lifelong dream of becoming a published writer was born.
Taylor never thought of herself as a romance writer, but it turns out, she loves love.
When she's not chasing her toddler, watching Impractical Jokers with her husband, running, or playing around with her two pups, she's probably under her favorite blanket, either writing a book, or reading one.
Taylor lives in Maryland, where she was born and raised. Her debut novel, IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING, will be released in AUGUST, and she cannot WAIT!
1.It's pronounced "Col-burt," not "Col-bear." Thanks a lot, Stephen. And no, she wasn't named after Taylor Dayne.
2.Taylor's sister, Cassidy, is her number-one fan and toughest critic. She reads all of Taylor's books before anyone else.
3. Both Dalesville and Meade Lake, settings in Taylor's books, are based off of Taylor's two favorite places: her hometown, and the area where her family had a lake house for ten years.
4. Taylor is greatly inspired by music; she creates entire playlists with songs that help her write a particular book.
5. She loves hearing from people. Drop her a line!
